OHSAS
Establishes requirements related to the management of occupational health and safety,
by means of which it is possible to improve the knowledge of existing risks to the organization,
acting in their control in normal and abnormal situations, promoting the continuous improvement
of occupational health and safety performance by means of better culture with regard to safety,
efficiency and, consequently, reducing accidents in production, in the control of hazards,
and in the reduction of risks; and in the demonstration of compliance with legal requirements
applicable to health and safety.
